Before we arrive

No. Call us first. Your insurance company actually prefers you get a restoration company on site immediately to stop further damage from occurring. The faster we respond, the less damage there is, which can reduce your overall claim. We work directly with your carrier and can assist through the entire claims process. If you do not have insurance, or choose not to file, we also provide transparent self-pay estimates.
We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. When you call, you reach our team directly, not an answering service. A professional team can typically respond within 60 minutes of your call, depending on location and call volume.
Safety first. If there is standing water, turn off electricity to affected areas before entering. If you can safely do so, shut off the water source to stop ongoing flooding. Do not use a regular vacuum to remove water. Take photos and video of all visible damage before moving anything, because that documentation matters for your claim. Do not throw anything away. Move valuables and electronics to dry areas if it is safe, but otherwise wait for our team.
Yes. We provide free on site assessments for all jobs. A certified technician documents the damage thoroughly and walks you through your options with no obligation, whether you plan to file a claim or pay out of pocket.
It depends on the severity and type of damage. For minor water losses in a contained area, staying is often possible. For major losses, sewage backups, fire damage or anything involving hazardous materials, temporary relocation may be necessary for your safety. We give you an honest assessment during the initial walkthrough.

Insurance and cost

Most homeowner and commercial policies cover sudden and accidental damage from events like burst pipes, appliance failures, storm damage, fire and smoke. Policies typically do not cover damage from long term neglect or deferred maintenance. We help you understand your coverage, prepare the documentation and navigate the claim.
If, after our investigation, you decide to make a claim and your carrier denies it, we do not charge you for the emergency services already performed.
It varies with the severity of the damage, the size of the property and which services are needed. You get a written scope and estimate before major work begins.
Scope photos, moisture readings logged daily, a written scope of work and a detailed estimate. We communicate directly with your adjuster. Seven certified Xactimate estimators and three certified Florida adjusters work on our team, so the file arrives in the format a desk expects.
Yes. Your carrier may suggest a preferred vendor, but the choice of who works on your property is yours.

How long it takes

As a general guide, minor water damage affecting one room typically dries in 1 to 3 days. Moderate damage such as a burst pipe with saturated walls or flooring usually takes 3 to 5 days. Major losses involving flooding, sewage or structural damage can take 7 or more days. Our technicians monitor moisture throughout and do not sign off until the property meets verified pre-loss dry standards, not just feeling dry.
Most mold projects take one to five days, depending on the size of the affected area and the severity of the contamination. Larger or more complex cases take longer, particularly where repairs are needed after removal.
Minor kitchen fires might take a few days to clean and deodorize. Large losses involving significant reconstruction can take several weeks or more. After the inspection you get a projected schedule for mitigation and repairs.
Yes. Mold can begin developing within 24 to 72 hours after water intrusion, even in places you cannot see. Insurance policies also contain language requiring property owners to act to prevent further damage, so delaying can result in a reduced or denied claim on top of a more serious mold problem.

The work itself

Emergencies and specialties

Burst and leaking pipes, appliance failures, storm flooding, roof, window and foundation leaks, and sewage backups. Water is categorized as clean, gray or black on arrival, because that determines what can be dried and what has to come out.
Removing biological materials such as blood, bodily fluids, medical waste and contaminated materials that carry a health risk if handled improperly. It is done under a Florida Department of Health permit and handled confidentially.
Biohazard cleanup deals with biological material. Crime scene cleanup, also called forensic cleanup, extends beyond that to the property damage and other concerns a scene leaves behind.
Yes, and it is the first thing that happens after a storm. Stabilizing the building stops further water intrusion, and nothing inside is worth doing while the roof is still open.
Yes. We respond to properties across the entire state of Florida, 24 hours a day, and are licensed throughout Florida and the southeast.
